Domaine de Bellene - Volnay Les Grands Poisots 2017

Created in 2005 by Nicolas Potel, Domaine de Bellene is based on plots of vines 50 to 110 years old , located in various communes of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Working according to strict organic principles , without oenological additives, the estate seeks to reveal the terroir of each climate, thus producing wines of remarkable purity and finesse .

In 2008, Maison Roche de Bellene was born, extending the influence of the estate with a network of winegrowers and an in-depth knowledge of the terroir. Thanks to this expertise, Maison Roche de Bellene offers a selection of prestigious wines.

🍇 Grape variety: Pinot Noir

👁️ Color : Deep ruby ​​red , with slightly purple highlights, showing beautiful maturity.

👃🏻 Nose : Complex and elegant nose, revealing aromas of black cherry , plum , flower (violet) and touches of liquorice and earth .

👄 Palate : On the palate, this Volnay is refined and velvety , with silky tannins and well-integrated acidity . The flavors of ripe red fruits are enriched with notes of cocoa , cedar wood and undergrowth , offering a long and harmonious finish .

🍽️ Food and wine pairings : Ideal with grilled red meats , roast duck or mature cheeses such as Comté. Also perfect with veal stew .

🕐 Aging potential : Can evolve in the cellar for 8 to 12 years , gaining in complexity.
