Wonderfully located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, the Domaine de Chamilly extends over 16 hectares spread over the communes of Moroges, Buxy, Givry and Mercurey. They cultivate the typical Burgundian grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté and Gamay.
In full organic conversion , the estate is committed to respecting the soils and preserving biodiversity in its plots. The wines of Domaine de Chamilly are fine and gourmet, with profiles little marked by aging ( 10 months, few new barrels ).
👁️ Color : Bright pale yellow , with green highlights, indicating a beautiful freshness.
👃🏻 Nose : Lively and expressive nose, with aromas of green fruits (Granny Smith apple, pear), citrus notes (lemon) and a subtle touch of minerality .
👄 Palate : On the palate, this Bourgogne Aligoté is fresh and crisp , with lively acidity and flavors of green fruits and citrus , offering a clean and refreshing finish .
🍽️ Food and wine pairings : Ideal with seafood , salads or grilled fish . It also goes well with fresh cheeses such as goat's cheese or caviar .
