Winegrowers for several generations, Valérie and Philippe Huguenot have expanded the family estate to cultivate 23 hectares of vines spread across the prestigious communes of Marsannay, Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin. At the head of this wine business, they strive every day to enhance the family heritage by producing wines that reflect the richness and diversity of their terroirs.
Committed to a constant quest for quality and respect for the environment, the estate is now certified in organic farming . Their dedication is reflected in authentic wines, imbued with the nature that saw them born.
🍇 Grape variety : Pinot Noir
👁️ Color : Bright ruby color with purple highlights, brilliant and seductive, announcing the richness and complexity of this great vintage.
👃🏻 Nose : Aromatic and complex nose, revealing aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) mixed with notes of undergrowth , truffle and spices with a subtle touch of wood .
👄 Palate : On the palate, this Gevrey Chambertin is ample and velvety , with silky and well-integrated tannins. The ripe fruit flavors are balanced with notes of dark chocolate and spices , offering a beautiful depth . The finish is long and elegant , marked by a fresh acidity and a beautiful persistence.
🍽️ Food and wine pairings : Ideal with red meats , dishes in sauce such as beef bourguignon , or game . It also goes very well with mature cheeses such as Époisses.
🕐 Aging potential : Enjoy now, but can improve over 8 to 12 years , developing even more complexity and elegance.
